MIAMI — Medics rushed a 19-year-old man to Jackson Memorial Hospital Monday morning after a shooting in Miami’s Allapattah neighborhood.

The shooting happened just after 10:45 a.m. in the area of Northwest 25th Avenue and 38th Street.

Video from Sky 10 showed police officers and crime scene tape in the industrial area.

According to Miami Fire Rescue, medics took the victim to JMH’s Ryder Trauma Center in “serious but stable condition.”

Officer Kiara Delva, a spokesperson for the Miami Police Department, said investigators are looking into “the circumstances surrounding the shooting” as of around 11 a.m.
