Netflix is premiering one of its first thrillers of 2026, Thrash.

The film follows a small town devastated by a Category 5 hurricane, where a group of unlikely heroes must survive both Mother Nature and the threat of apex predator sharks.

Phoebe Dynevor stars as Lisa, an expecting mother determined to see her unborn child take its first breath.

Djimon Hounsou takes on the role of Dale, a biologist who underscores the film’s message about global warming.

The cast also features Whitney Peak as Dakota, an agoraphobic teen who pushes past her fears to face her greatest adversary -- a great white shark.
