KEY LARGO, Fla. — Landscapers trimming mangroves in a Key Largo neighborhood discovered eight small packages of apparent marijuana Thursday, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the bales appeared waterlogged and may have been in the area for some time.
They said the packages were turned over to MCSO’s narcotics division.
No other details were immediately released.
