Woman injured in Miramar hit-and-run dies two years later; driver still sought

MIRAMAR, Fla. — A woman critically injured in a hit-and-run crash in Miramar two years ago has died, and detectives are still searching for the driver.

On April 6, 2024, 26-year-old Onyxia Delinois was jogging ahead of a running group near Miramar Parkway and Southwest 184th Avenue when she was hit by a driver who never stopped.

The crash left her with a critical head injury, and she required around-the-clock care.

Her husband, Roosevelt Delinois, who was her primary caretaker, is urging anyone who may have seen anything to come forward so his wife can have justice.

Police continue to investigate but do not have a vehicle description. There is a $15,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
