MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — First responders rushed to a brush fire that sparked on Monday afternoon.
It’s located near Northwest 137th Avenue and 25th Street in the western part of unincorporated Miami-Dade County.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said they have units at the scene.
The Florida Forest Service has also been contacted, officials said.
As of around 4 p.m., authorities said the fire was 60% contained.
Officials advised people with respiratory conditions to stay indoors and recirculate the air in their homes and vehicles using air conditioning.
There were no reports that the fire was impacting any structures or roadways.
