Four drop-off locations were collecting donations on Thursday in Doral after two earthquakes killed at least 164 people in Venezuela.
Doral Mayor Christi Fraga announced the city had partnered with the Doral-based nonprofit Global Empowerment Mission.
The list of items needed included first aid kits; emergency gear such as flashlights, heavy-duty batteries, solar phone chargers, and work gloves; and baby care such as diapers.

Here is the list of drop-off locations in Doral:
- GEM headquarters was open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday to Friday, at 1850 NW 84th Ave.
- Miami-Dade County Supervisor of Elections Office Lobby was open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., from Monday to Friday, at 2700 NW 87th Ave.
- Doral Legacy Park Community Center was open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., from Monday to Friday, and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at 11400 NW 82 St.
- El Arepazo is open 24 hours from Monday to Sunday at 10191 NW 58th St.
Volunteers at the GEM warehouse were packing boxes of donations on Thursday to prepare deliveries to Venezuela.
