Man hospitalized after being stabbed by brother in Miramar, police say

MIRAMAR, Fla. — A man is in custody after police said he stabbed his brother after the two got into an argument.

It happened Saturday night in the area of the 6900 block of Southwest 26th Street in Miramar.

According to police, the brothers got into an argument when one of them pulled out a pocket knife and stabbed the other.

Authorities said the victim was rushed to Memorial Regional Hospital with injuries considered non-life-threatening.

Miramar police said a Broward Sheriff’s Office helicopter and Pembroke Pines police K9 units assisted in locating the suspect, who has yet to be identified.

Police said the suspect was taken into custody without further incident.
