July 10: Very hot, very hazy weekend

Showers and storms will dampen parts of South Florida and the Keys Friday evening. Spotty showers or even a rogue thunderstorm cannot be ruled out for Miami-Dade or Broward county as the night unfolds. Otherwise, Saharan dust lingers with more on the way for the weekend.

Saturday will feature “milky” skies and very hot conditions. A spotty storm or two could “pop” during the afternoon, especially in Broward county. Temperatures will make a run for low 90s -- humidity will make it feel like 105° or hotter.

Sunday will offer hazy sunshine and sizzling conditions. Temperatures are forecast to reach the mid 90s -- humidity will make it feel like the triple digits.
