Carlo F. De Cossio, Cuba’s deputy minister of foreign affairs, identified the four who died as Pavel Alling Peña, Michael Ortega Casanova, Ledián Padrón Guevara, and Hector Duani Cruz Correa.

Cossio identified the six injured as Cristian Ernesto Acosta Guevara, Conrado Galindo Sariol, José Manuel Rodríguez Castelló, Leordan Enrique Cruz Gómez, Amijail Sánchez González, and Roberto Álvarez Ávila.

“In initial reports, Rolando Roberto Azcorra Consuegra was mistakenly identified as a member of the group, although he is not,” Cossio said in the statement on Thursday.

On Wednesday, after identifying only seven out of the 10 men, the Cuban Embassy in the U.S. released a statement that included Azcorra Consuegra.

Sánchez González and Cruz Gómez “are currently under criminal investigation and were wanted by Cuban authorities for their alleged involvement in the promotion, planning, organization, financing, support, or execution of terrorist acts,” according to Cuban officials on Wednesday.

Martí Noticias, a Miami-based U.S. government-funded broadcaster, identified Galindo Sariol as a former political prisoner in Cuba.

Ortega Casanova was born in Cuba, had lived in the U.S. for more than 20 years, was a naturalized U.S. citizen, and had an “obsessive” quest for Cuba’s freedom, his brother Misael Ortega Casanova said, according to The Associated Press.

In Miami-Dade County, Angel Montera, who lives in Miami Lakes, told Monroe County Sheriff’s Office deputies that he believed Cruz Correa had stolen his Florida-registered boat on Tuesday evening at 31532 Ave. G, in Big Pine Key, records show.

Montera reported that Cruz Correa, who was born in Cuba and lives in Homestead, “has family in Cuba,” including “two young daughters,” according to a MCSO deputy’s incident report.

Cuban officials also announced that Duniel Hernández Santos was arrested in Cuba and accused of traveling from the U.S. “to facilitate the landing and reception of the armed group.”
