As war with Iran possibly nears end, is Cuba next?

As the war with Iran is possibly coming to an end, many in South Florida are wondering if Cuba is next.

Last week’s indictment of Cuba’s de facto leader Raúl Castro by the U.S. Department of Justice for his participation in the downing of two Brothers to the Rescue planes over international waters in 1996 have raised expectations in the Cuban-American community that the end to Cuba’s regime is close.

Castro turns 95 years old next month and I am not certain who will replace him. The visit by CIA Director John Ratcliffe two weeks ago was intended to give a clear message to the Cuban government that the U.S. expects changes soon or they will face additional consequences.

One question that everyone is asking is whether the U.S. will invade Cuba and force regime change. My sources in Washington, D.C. tell me that all options are on the table.
