Animal advocates with the nonprofit Pooches in Pines recently announced that two out of three rescued puppies are ready for adoption.

After police officers rescued Lana, Sasha, and Peaches in Pembroke Pines, the nonprofit organization helped to get the puppies care and foster homes.

Lana weighed 4.2 pounds when rescued and was recently a healthier 8 pounds. Sasha weighed 14 pounds after rescued at 8 pounds, and Peaches weighed 22 pounds after rescued at 16.3 pounds.

The advocates are searching for homes for mixed-breed and “almost potty-trained” Lana and 2-year-old Frenchie Peaches. For information about the adoption application, visit this page.
