LAS VEGAS – With the 112th overall pick in the fourth round of the 2025 NHL Draft, the Florida Panthers selected 18-year-old left winger Mads Kongsbak Klyvo from Frolunda’s junior program in Sweden.

Klyvo showed promise this past season at the J20 level and earned some late-season playoff minutes with Frolunda’s senior team in the Swedish Hockey League.
He also made an impact internationally, helping Denmark’s U20 squad earn promotion to the top division of the World Junior Championship.
According to Elite Prospects, Klyvo is a “toolsy, above-average-skating two-way winger who shows finesse in transition.” At 6-foot-2 and nearly 200 pounds, scouts say he combines a power forward’s frame with projectable skating ability. Thanks to a low center of gravity and strong mechanics, he’s difficult to knock off balance — yet still explosive and fast."
