FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — The Miami Marlins are a few weeks away from the start of spring training.

One of the Marlins biggest legends, Jeff Conine, is doing something he does very well: giving back.

On Monday, he hosted the 32nd annual Conine All-Star Golf Classic at the Fort Lauderdale Country Club.

The tournament was started in 1995 by Conine and his wife, Cindy, with all proceeds going to the Conine Clubhouse at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital.

To date, the golf tournament has raised over $9 million, including another $500,000 expected on Monday.
