Miami has a party planned for the members of the Team USA men’s hockey team to celebrate their Olympic gold.
To avoid the massive blizzard in the northeast, the team is set to arrive at Miami International Airport on Monday afternoon.
ITA Airways flight 9080 was set to arrive at 2:15 p.m., and the players were expected at Concourse J greeter’s lobby at Door 22 on the third floor.
Cote, a Korean steakhouse in Miami’s Design District, and E11ven, a nightclub in Downtown Miami, plan to host the best hockey players in the world.
The nightclub, at 29 NE 11th St., will open at 9 p.m. and roll the red carpet for the players at 10 p.m. Admission with open bar until midnight is about $540.
The team ended Canada’s NHL Olympics. The “Miracle on Ice” included Connor Hellebuyck’s best hockey goaltending performance in international hockey history.
