Mike and Shazza, who said they married in October and live in England, recently traveled to the United States to cheer on England and celebrate their new marriage.

The couple has tickets to Saturday’s quarterfinal match between England and Norway at Miami Stadium.

“We’re looking forward to the game tomorrow,” said Mike. “Obviously, we’ve got tickets to go to the quarterfinals ourselves, and we’re sharing that opportunity to enjoy the visit.”

“We’re actually sharing our honeymoon,” added Shazza.

Meanwhile, Norwegian supporters taught Local 10’s Michaila Hightower team’s signature “roo” cheer — a rowing motion that has become synonymous with the national team’s supporters.

One Norway fan said reaching the World Cup has been a dream after years of disappointment.

“It’s pretty surreal because every year for the last 28 years we haven’t qualified for anything, so we grew up with Norway being not really a good team and no championships. So, it’s really fun to have them in the World Cup and doing so well,” the fan said.

Norway fans hope their team can “row” its way into the semifinals with a victory Saturday.
