BRICKELL, Fla. — Soccer fans with Viking spirit and slicked-back blonde hair will have a chance to show off their best Erling Haaland impression Saturday at a look-alike contest in Miami, with the winner taking home two tickets to the World Cup quarterfinal between Norway and England.
The contest begins at 1 p.m. at the corner of Brickell City Centre, replacing the previously announced location at Bayfront Park.
The viral event is hosted by prediction market platform Kalshi and social media influencer Emma Kate Willman, who gained attention online for her resemblance to the Norwegian soccer star.
Participants are encouraged to embrace Haaland’s signature style by sporting slicked-back blonde hair, bringing Viking-inspired energy and recreating the striker’s well-known goal celebration and meditation pose.
Organizers also encourage fans to show their support for Team Norway.
The grand prize is two tickets to Saturday night’s World Cup quarterfinal between Norway and England at Miami Stadium. That match is set for 5 p.m.
The contest is expected to draw soccer fans and spectators as excitement builds ahead of one of the tournament’s marquee knockout matches.
