MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — The Miami Dolphins held their Football Unites Jason Jenkins Days of Service on Tuesday by partnering with the 5000 Role Models of Excellence Project to host the eighth annual Police and Youth Conference at Hard Rock Stadium.
Students from Broward and Miami-Dade counties joined South Florida police officers for the event, which aims to strengthen relationships between youth and law enforcement.
The conference featured a panel discussion with Dolphins players Daniel Brunskill, Kendall Lamm, Alec Ingold and Rasul Douglas, as well as local police chiefs.
Miami Dolphins Vice President of Community Affairs Kim Miller also spoke at the event.
Programming included guided discussions, interactive scenarios, breakout sessions and personal stories, with opportunities for participants to ask questions and engage directly with officers and players.
After the conference, Dolphins linebacker Chop Robinson teamed up with Little Caesars’ Love Kitchen to serve pizza to attendees.
Since its founding in 1985, the mobile pizza kitchen has traveled across the country, serving more than four million people to provide comfort and support to communities in need.
