Several South Florida high school football teams are preparing for their state semifinal matchups.
The first seed in Class 5A, St. Thomas Aquinas, will host the fourth-seeded Riverdale Raiders on Friday at 7:30 p.m. St. Thomas is ranked second in Florida with a record of 12-1.
The third seed in Class 6A, West Boca Raton Bulls, will travel to Seffner to face the second-seeded Armwood Hawks on Friday at 7:30 p.m. West Boca Raton is ranked 18th in Florida with a record of 11-2.
The fourth seed in Class 7A, Miami Palmetto Panthers, will visit the top-seeded Vero Beach Indians on Friday at 7 p.m. Miami Palmetto is ranked 38th in Florida with a record of 11-2.
The fourth seed in Class 6A, West Broward Bobcats, will travel to Gainesville to face the top-seeded Buchholz Bobcats on Friday at 7:30 p.m. West Broward is ranked 21st in Florida with a record of 11-2.
