1 hospitalized after warehouse fire in Hialeah Gardens
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews responded Wednesday morning to a warehouse fire in Hialeah Gardens that left one person hospitalized, officials confirmed.
A widower who owned Miguelito Barber Shop in Miami-Dade County’s Florida City stands accused of moving cocaine and cash while working in both cocaine trafficking and money laundering for traffickers, records show. Investigators say he worked in the Orlando and Miami areas, Colombia, and his native Dominican Republic.
A Miami contract pilot known as “Jagger” flew a private jet registered in the U.S. from the Dominican Republic to Venezuela where he expected men to load about 1,700 kilograms of cocaine from Colombia.
