Overheated housing markets could burn buyers
A study released Tuesday by researchers at Florida Atlantic University and Florida International University finds that 15 housing markets in the U.S., including one in Florida, are overvalued by 50 percent or more and poised for potential price corrections.
Police: 2 dead after domestic dispute in NE Miami-Dade, officers-involved shooting under investigation

Legendary coach Howard Schnellenberger dies at 87

Schnellenberger coached UM from 1979-1983, leading the Hurricanes to their first national championship. After leaving UM, Schnellenberger coached at Louisville and Oklahoma before taking over as the director of football operations at FAU.
Howard Schnellenberger recovering from a fall
BOCA RATON, Fla. – Legendary football coach Howard Schnellenberger is recovering from a fall. According to Florida Atlantic University, Schnellenberger fell at his home in Boynton Beach and suffered a subdural hematoma. Beverlee Schnellenberger, his wife, said “Our prayers are for a full and speedy recovery. Schnellenberger was the first coach and architect of the football program at Florida Atlantic from 2001-2011. He was also an assistant coach on the Miami Dolphins from 1970-1972, including the perfect season.
