The trial of a Florida woman accused of dressing up as clown in 1990 and fatally shooting the wife of a man she later married has been postponed for a seventh time following the disclosure of a law enforcement file containing information about other clown-sighting leads at the time.

"It was at that time that the clown pulled out a gun and shot Marlene in the face," McCann said. Marlene Warren was fatally shot in the face by a woman who was dressed as a clown in May 1990. Marlene Warren died at a hospital two days later.

A Palm Beach County circuit judge agreed Friday to postpone the first-degree murder trial of 56-year-old Sheila Keen-Warren. Keen-Warren was arrested in 2017 and extradited from Virginia, where she lived with husband Michael Warren. Several witnesses told detectives Sheila Keen and Michael Warren were having an affair before the killing, which they both denied.
