PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. — Two people were hospitalized Tuesday following a head-on collision in the northbound lanes of Interstate 75 in Pembroke Pines, first responders confirmed to Local 10 News.
The crash was reported late Tuesday morning near Pines Boulevard.
Pembroke Pines Fire Rescue officials said both vehicles involved in the crash sustained heavy damage and two people were transported by ground to Memorial Regional Hospital as trauma alerts.
Their exact conditions have not yet been released.
Two left lanes were blocked off after the crash.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
