After all the running around this holiday season, we get a chance to decompress with fantastic weather this weekend! High pressure will drift across our skies, bringing us tons of sun and comfortably warm days with cool nights through Monday.

Our next weathermaker is a strong cold front arriving Tuesday with a slight chance of showers, but the bigger story is the very cool air that will move in as we head into the new year. I expect lows in the 40s and 50s by New Year’s Day, with daytime highs only in the lower 70s, so get your sweaters and jackets ready— the coolest air of the season so far is on the way!
