After the warmest January day on record, we have plunged to the upper 40s. High temperatures today will struggle to get near 70° even with full sunshine. It will be chilly like this all week. While we are dry today, we have some light showers developing at times on Wednesday.
The focus of the forecast will be an Arctic cold front moving in Saturday. This could usher in low temperatures in the 30s with highs in the 50s starting Sunday. Frost will be possible. This is looking more likely to be the coldest air South Florida has felt in 15 years. Wind chills could fall to dangerous levels in the 20s.
