South Florida’s weather is turning active as a cool front moves our way. This will spark a round of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon. Most storms will behave, but an isolated storm could produce gusty winds and small hail. Brief heavy rain could lead to minor flooding. The front will pass late tonight, filtering in drier air for tomorrow.
It won’t be cold behind the front since that season is behind us, but it will be a welcomed change. Highs will struggle to reach 80° through Thursday with much lower humidity. Lows at night will drop into the upper 60s.
