Scattered showers and storms are likely later today as the seabreeze moves in and clashes with hot air over the Everglades. Upper-level winds will steer those storms toward the east coast so while we missed it yesterday it appears that it’s our turn today.
The best chance for some of those storms is between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. and some of these storms could have small hail and over an inch of rain in spots. It’ll heat up into the upper 80s before those cooling storms arrive so get ready to sweat out there today!
You’ll find cooling relief at the beaches however with that seabreeze keeping it in the lower 80s today. The risk of rip currents is low today so enjoy a cool dip in the water. Scattered afternoon storms are likely tomorrow and possibly Tuesday too before a drier, hotter airmass moves in by midweek.
