It’s going to be another hot day with areas away from the water reaching 90° again. Don’t expect any relief from rain with a completely dry forecast into Saturday. Tomorrow will be even hotter with highs around 93°. This would challenge records for parts of South Florida. Factor in the relatively high humidity and it will feel more like 100°, which is our peak heat index.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will cool us down somewhat on Sunday. These storms could become widespread with heavy rain, gusty winds, and frequent lightning. Some of this will linger into Monday as temperatures return to normal in the middle 80s.
