It’ll be a mostly sunny, hot weekend, with only a few cooling thunderstorms in the forecast over the far western suburbs on Sunday. The humidity will creep up a bit each day, with the “feels like” temperature approaching 100 degrees Saturday and Sunday, so stay hydrated if you’re headed to the air show or celebrating Mother’s Day outdoors.

A front to our north this weekend will move closer by early next week, increasing the chance of scattered showers and storms from Monday through Wednesday. Highs in the lower 90s this weekend will eventually slip back into the mid- to upper 80s by the middle of next week.
