We hit a 108° heat index again for the second day in a row, which is the highest heat index recorded in Miami so far this year. The sky is mostly clear without any big afternoon thunderstorms today. The air is too dry, and the few storms that manage to overcome the dry air will stay in the Everglades.

Tomorrow our rain chances will increase to 30%, especially in the afternoon as inland showers and thunderstorms develop. Temperatures will still reach the low 90s with a heat index of 105°-110°, which will likely spark another round of heat advisories. This pattern is expected to last through the end of the work week.
