Fewer storms expected on Tuesday after a Labor Day washout

Showers and thunderstorms will develop again on Tuesday afternoon and evening, but don’t expect nearly as many storms as Monday. There will be fewer of them, and they’re expected to be less intense. High temperatures will be in the low 90s, which is only slightly hotter than average. Wednesday will be similar.

Later this week, we will have more widespread showers and thunderstorms. These rain chances will peak at 70% over the weekend with several rounds of thunderstorms that could produce more heavy rain. We are getting big relief from the severe drought the continues across South Florida.
