Our soggy September continues with hot and steamy weather giving way to mainly afternoon showers and storms this weekend and into much of next week.

Summer heat and humidity are hanging on as well, with our feel- like temperatures in the lower 100s until those cooling storms roll in.

A non-tropical disturbance over the Bahamas will move slowly west across the Florida peninsula, keeping those storm chances pretty high through at least next week.

Things are quiet in the tropics and look to remain that way through the next 7 days.
