Unlike the pattern we’ve been in recently, the highest chance of rain will be after sunset on Tuesday. Only a few storms will develop during the heating of the day with highs in the low 90s. A surge of moisture will move in after 9 p.m. thunderstorms are expected to blossom over the Atlantic before moving onshore. Some storms could have frequent lightning and loud thunder. These will continue into Wednesday morning.
A storm system will move in from the Atlantic Thursday and Friday with an even higher chance for thunderstorms. Depending on how much heating we get to add fuel to the storms, some could be severe with strong wind gusts. This stormy pattern is expected to last into the weekend.
