Food For Thought: Local 10′s mission to fight food insecurity

WPLG-Local 10 and Publix are teaming up for a second year to address the growing crisis of food insecurity in South Florida through our Food For Thought campaign.

Health in the Hood is planting the seeds for a more healthy lifestyle in urban communities that may not have had the same access before.

Sept. 24 | Local 10′s Nicole Perez highlights Covenant House Florida, a safe haven for homeless youth just steps from Fort Lauderdale beach:

The safe haven for homeless youth provides education, counseling and food for those in need in Fort Lauderdale. Local 10 News' Nicole Perez reports as part of our Food For Thought initiative.
