New Mariah Carey pop-up bar opens in Miami Beach

Mariah Carey inspires 2-floor holiday wonderland in Miami Beach The Queen of Christmas is sprinkling some holiday magic over Miami Beach.

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — The Queen of Christmas is sprinkling some holiday magic over Miami Beach.

A beachside bar has transformed two floors into a fully decorated holiday wonderland dedicated to Mariah Carey, and visitors are already feeling the festive cheer.

Mariah Carey said it’s time, and Miami Beach took that personally. Mariah Carey’s holiday bar is a festive, fully decorated oasis worthy of the Queen herself.

“All I want for Christmas” plays as guests enter, setting the mood for a Mariah-inspired experience.

Carey and the company Bucket Listers have teamed up to transform Ray’s Hometown Bar on Miami Beach into the Mariah Carey Holiday Bar.

“It’s a good marriage of Mariah Carey and Ray’s. The fact that it’s two floors, you can kind of look around the corners and I think you can spend a lot of time here,” said Kaitlin Prince, Director of Events and Marketing.

Grace Goodchild, a Bucket Listers spokesperson, explained what visitors can expect: “When you buy a ticket, you get a welcome drink and a 90 minute reservation and there are different kind of concepts.”

Guests are greeted with wall-to-wall Mariah-inspired décor.

The attention to detail is evident, from Mariah-themed butterflies to interactive photo opportunities.

“You can’t hide from Mariah Carey here, she’s everywhere,” Goodchild said. “She’s always watching, what is that Santa? She’s basically Santa, she’s Miami’s Santa.”

Visitors can take photos throughout the bar and even write letters to Mariah herself.

“You can write letters to Mariah, because we know, like Santa, ok, but Mariah, she’s the one that’s going to get me a man for Christmas,” Goodchild said.

Every 30 minutes, guests are serenaded by the star’s iconic holiday hit.

After exploring the two floors of Mariah magic, visitors can indulge in festive cocktails and holiday treats.

“The thing that makes this cocktail special is that it has Mariah Carey’s very own Black Irish Cream Liquor in it. It gives a bit of a sweet creaminess,” Prince said.

Guests also have the chance to enjoy brunch, midday, or late-night experiences with DJ remixes of Christmas classics.

The Mariah Carey Holiday Bar is open through Dec. 28, giving fans plenty of time to get festive with the Queen of Christmas.
