MARTIN COUNTY, Fla. – The notorious “Python Cowboy” has been busy. Trapper Mike Kimmel posted a video of himself catching a python with his bare hand.
Kimmel said he spotted the python slithering across the road in Martin County while he was driving.
He said he thought it would be easy to capture the invasive snake with one hand, so he got out of his truck and carefully wrangled the reptile.
The python was not huge, but Kimmel said getting one python out of the Everglades is a huge win.
