Broward Health to end public 1st dose COVID-19 vaccine distribution

Jackson Health System announced this week it will also end their distribution of 1st doses

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. ā€“ One day after Miamiā€™s Jackson Health System announced it would stop distributing the first dose of COVID-19 vaccines to the public on the last day of April, Broward Health officials said that the last day they will distribute first doses will be April 23.

They, too, cited low demand and extensive vaccination resources throughout the county and South Florida.

In an announcement, Broward Health said it would continue to vaccinate people who have already been scheduled for an appointment.
