PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. – A Pembroke Pines man was the grand prize winner of the first Florida Lotto Bonus Play Promotion drawing, taking home $25,000, the Florida Lottery announced on Thursday.
While Fausto Pestana was the big winner, two other winners were selected to receive $10,000 in cash each and five others won $5,000 each.

A whopping 74 other people each received $1,000 in gift cards from Home Depot, 121 winners scored $1,000 in Bass Pro Shops gift cards and 79 winners received $500 in Vudu gift cards.
Players may continue to enter eligible Florida Lotto tickets into the second Lotto Bonus Play Promotion drawing.
The deadline to enter is May 22. Winners from the second and final drawing will be announced on May 26.
