Curious eyes witness historic celestial event

The first to take photos of the total solar eclipse on Monday in the world were in Mexico. The first in the United States were in Texas.

The path of totality as the moon passed in front of the sun continued over Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, New York, and Maine. South Florida got a partial view.
