According to an arrest report obtained Tuesday by Local 10 News, Jordan Aristide, 26, and his brother currently live together.

Police said the victim was in the front yard of their home Monday, recording Aristide changing the front door lock, when Aristide charged at him, grabbing the victim by the neck and taking him to the ground.

According to the report, as the victim was on the ground, Aristide began punching and kicking him throughout the body.

The victim sustained minor bruising and a small cut to the right side of his neck, police said.

According to the report, witnesses separated the brothers prior to police arriving.

Aristide was arrested on a battery charge.

As of Tuesday afternoon, he was no longer appearing in the online jail database.

MDSO confirmed that Aristide has been employed with the agency since April 2024 and is currently relieved of duty with pay.

His arrest came a day before the arrest of MDSO Lt. Brian Pfeiffer, 50, who is accused of grabbing his wife’s wrist and ripping a cellphone away from her hand.

“I am disappointed to learn that two of my deputies were arrested in separate domestic related incidents. Our deputies are held to the highest standards, and I expect more responsible behavior!” Sheriff Rosie Cordero-Stutz said in a statement. “Domestic violence has no place in our community, and seeking help is a sign of strength. Help is available, you are not alone!”
