North Miami police seek senior with dementia reported missing

NORTH MIAMI, Fla. — North Miami police asked for the public’s help Tuesday in locating a 66-year-old man with health ailments who they said was reported missing.

According to police, Luis Antonio Herrera was last seen around 3 a.m. Monday in the 12800 block of Northeast Ninth Avenue.

Police said Herrera is 5 feet, 1 inch tall and weighs around 115 pounds. He was last seen wearing a brown shirt and blue jeans.

Detectives said Herrera suffers from dementia and schizophrenia, and his family is concerned for his safety.
