MIAMI — Surveillance video obtained Tuesday by Local 10 News shows the urgent response after a freight train collided with two pedestrians on the tracks in Miami’s Little Haiti neighborhood.
It happened along North Miami Avenue, just north of 71st Street, just before 10:45 p.m. Monday.
Miami police said the pedestrians, “a male and a female,” were pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators have not released their names or ages.
For hours, crime scene investigators were spotted at the scene, combing the area for evidence.
Authorities have not yet said why the victims were on the tracks.
