MIAMI — A man was shot and killed Friday night in Miami.

Miami police received a ShotSpotter alert just before 9:30 p.m. near 5030 NW 17th Ave.

Officers found a 30-year-old man in critical condition with gunshot wounds. Miami Fire Rescue transported him to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police are investigating the homicide.
