Operation 4K saw officers in action for over six weeks, catching suspects and helping residents and tourists of all ages.

In one case, a woman was smoking weed in her car with the windows up, known as hot-boxing, with a 2-year-old inside.

Officers were seen comforting the child.

According to officials, Operation 4K netted 26 felony arrests, 26 misdemeanor arrests and 18 ordinance arrests.

Overall, police said year-to-date comparisons indicate a 27% decrease in reported crimes along Ocean Drive, a 17% decrease across the broader in the Art Deco Cultural District and a 20% reduction throughout the South Beach district.
