MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — Miami Hurricanes fans are feeling great ahead of Friday night’s game against the Louisville Cardinals.
The No. 2-ranked team in the country is undefeated this year (5-0), and its fanbase believes this could be the year they win it all.
Fans have been at Hard Rock Stadium’s parking lot since the afternoon, partying and celebrating.
“We stand behind our team through thick and thin,” said one fan. “This is the reason we tailgate. We celebrate, we create memories here. We’re all guys that are getting older and maturing, and we’re spending time together.”
Even some Louisville fans made the trip to watch the game.
“Tailgating is almost as fun as the game, to be honest, for a lot of us,” said a Cardinals fan. “It’s a great time seeing family and friends. A lot of people from Louisville came down for it.”
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
