MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — A woman was hospitalized Tuesday after a Brightline train clipped the back of her car in northeast Miami-Dade.

It happened at a Brightline station located on Miami Gardens Drive and Northeast 26th Avenue, according to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue transported the woman to a nearby hospital as a precaution; she was in stable condition, authorities said.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
