NORTH MIAMI, Fla. — Four people were taken to the hospital Friday afternoon after a two-car crash in North Miami.
The collision happened at the corner of Northwest 125th Street and 10th Avenue.
Louis Lubin, who lives at the intersection, said he was inside his home when the crash occurred.
“I saw two cars. One was right here and the other was in my yard,” Lubin said. “I heard the noise, and that was a big noise.”
Debris was left scattered across the area after both vehicles were towed away.
Lubin, who has lived at the location since 1981, said this was not the first time a crash has ended in his front yard. He said he is grateful neither vehicle crashed into his home.
“The one coming from 10th Avenue didn’t stop,” Lubin said.
Authorities said one of the cars involved in the crash was deemed a total loss and was towed away from the scene.
They have not released the conditions of the four people taken to the hospital. It is also unclear whether either driver will face charges.
