Detectives search for suspect in stolen car after shooting

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY — Deputies continued their search on Monday night for a fugitive who fled after a traffic stop and a deputy-involved shooting in Miami-Dade County.

Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputies found the suspect in a stolen car on Sunday night near Northwest 95 Street and 17th Avenue in West Little River.

A deputy fired, the suspect fled, and later ran away after abandoning the stolen car with a gun inside, according to deputies.

Detectives asked anyone with information about the case to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477 to remain anonymous.
