Monday marks another cold day in South Florida as a Freeze Warning remains in effect for metro/coastal Palm Beach County and metro Broward and metro Miami-Dade counties.

Students across South Florida bundle up as temps dip back into the 30s Students across South Florida are braving the cold weather Monday as they headed back to school with temperatures dipping back into the 30s.

The main freeze/frost concern in metro Broward/Miami-Dade will once again be across western locations (Redlands, Davie, Weston, Homestead) through 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Cold weather advisories remain in effect for all of South Florida until 10 a.m.

Local 10 speaks with Punxsutawney Phil on Hollywood Beach Punxsutawney Phil is said to be predicting six more weeks of wintry weather after he saw his shadow Monday.

Lows are in the 30s with wind chills in the 20s. And you will be layered up all day as highs will only reach the upper 50s.

A shift in the wind direction will bring a slow warming trend starting Tuesday and moving into mid-week.

Our next front will move through Thursday afternoon. It will not be as strong as the last one, but enough to bring 40s for lows back to South Florida.
