PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. — Local 10 Hurricane Specialist and Storm Surge Expert Michael Lowry and his wife, Kait, have welcomed their third child.

The couple’s baby girl, who weighed 8 pounds, 12 ounces, was born Sunday evening. Lowry said both mom and baby are home and doing well.

“We’re over the moon, especially to finally have a baby outside of hurricane season!” Lowry shared.

The family is now settling in at home — and, as Lowry joked, hoping to have their newest addition sleeping through the night before the start of June.
