The incident happened March 25, 2025, in the 27000 block of Southwest 143rd Place in Miami-Dade’s Naranja neighborhood.

Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputies said the device exploded in the living room of the home, badly injuring a teenage girl who was inside with multiple young children.

Four suspects were arrested in connection with the attack.

Yang Chiong, 36, is accused of orchestrating the attack, while Ricardo Munoz Manriquez, 32, of Florida City, is accused of throwing the device.

Deputies identified the teenage girl injured in the attack as Chiong’s ex-girlfriend, who they said suffered burns on nearly half of her body. Villarreal is Chiong’s current girlfriend, authorities said.

According to deputies, the attack happened following a history of domestic disputes involving Chiong and the victims’ household.
